About; Mae is the wife of an eccentric billionaire, mother of two sons - nine-year-old Ronan and eight-year-old Kai, the adopted son orphaned by the death of friends. Mae was born to a wealthy family, the traditional type that arranged marriages for their daughters - as one of the youngest, Mae had been slated as well. However, she fell in love with the free-spirited Naos, thought to be a nobody in her parent's eyes. She didn't care, but she was disowned by her family when she married him. As fate would have it, though, Naos was much more than he seemed. He came from an old family by a different name, and Mae found herself married to the sole heir. They settled on Naos' family's farm - or somewhat settled, anyway. Naos traveled constantly, following his passions, and Mae didn't begrudge him the freedom. She's a classy lady, and not necessarily a horse person - however, she does like them, and she's a shrewd business woman to hire the right people to run the farm correctly. She treats her staff like family, and the younger members jokingly call her 'mom'. Mae's got tan skin, long black hair, and blue eyes. She has a slim figure, and stands at 5'5".

Michael Mavecci

About; Cole is a widower employed by Valkyrie. He was hired the week after Mae moved to the farm with the help of her husband, and he hasn't let them down thus far. Cole is a smart trainer, playing off the strengths of both the horses and their riders, and it helps him get results. Cole's pretty ruggedly handsome, with pale blonde hair and blue eyes. Never having ridden as a jockey, he stands at 6 feet and is solidly built. He's a nice guy, and incredibly protective of his family. His son, Minske, works for Valkyrie as well.

Minske Mavecci

About; Minske's something of an enigma, and ridiculously hard to read. He's pretty kind, and generally seems like nothing more than a nice guy who would be a pushover in a fight. However, he's anything but. Minske is incredibly smart, picking his battles well and not putting energy toward meaningless situations. He's got his father's eye, especially when it comes to working with young horses, knowing where to push and when to stop. Minske stands at 5'8" and has his father's windswept, pale blonde hair and grey-blue eyes. He's not incredibly muscular, but he's not scrawny either.

Tigris Greenfire

About; Tigris is Mae Suhail's youngest brother, another family rebel. After befriending Minske Suhail, he left the clutches of his family to live with his sister at Valkyrie. Unlike Mae, Tigris turned out to be a great hand with horses. He's a hothead, getting worked up easily and gearing up for a fight. However, Minske's a great balance to his fire, and he can normally keep him controlled. Tigris is tall at 5'9", so he tends to ride the bigger horses. He's got long black hair that he pulls back and grey eyes. His sharp features make him a pretty attractive guy.

About; Hal is Naos Suhail's cousin, and she pretty much grew up with him. She inherited his free spirited way of living, and it shows in the way she rides. She's one of the most laid-back people you'll ever meet, and yet she's overflowing with passion - it's a strange mix, but one that serves her well. She's a beautiful girl, but she doesn't put a lot of effort into her appearance. She has no interest in fashion and such, though she's capable of pulling it all together if she needs to. She's an insatiable flirt, and the Minske finds it incredibly entertaining when she takes it upon herself to make Tigris feel incredibly uncomfortable. Hal is 5'7" with long, what she describes as 'milk chocolate' colored hair, and blue eyes. She and Mae are very close.

Larsa Entlier

About; Larsa was picked up by Cole at a yearling sale, spotting the younger man taking notes on some pretty promising, but underrated horses - he had a fantastic eye, and a deep knowledge of pedigrees. He's a friendly and playful guy, the first to throw out a joke and lighten the mood. He stands at 5'10" and has a medium build, fit and trim. His hair is black and wavy, and his eyes are pale grey - jokes are often thrown around that he and Tigris might be long-lost brothers.

Riding Style; As a younger jock, Felix is very particular about getting to know his rides ahead of time. For that reason, Felix tends to spend a lot of time at Valkyrie. He has a fairly aggressive and competitive riding style, making him ideally suited to get horses out of the gate quickly and into the lead positions.

Riding Style: Alicia is a dedicated and spirited jockey, though she's a little rough around the edges - which comes from being a woman in a man's world. She's a pretty aggressive rider, and her enthusiasm often brings out the best in the horses.
