Allouette DivineHorse Information
Registered Number: 1168
Nickname: Divie
Age: Three (Y11)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Bay
Height: 16 hands
Gender: Filly
Personality: Divie's incredibly spunky and something of a handful. She's always bursting with energy, and it's incredibly hard to get a nice picture of - she just doesn't stand still. It's not malicious, she's just young and excitable. She's really a sweet horse, and loves the companionship of both humans and horses. Her humans are just an extension of her herd, and it's made her pretty easy to train - she defers easily to the logic of the trainers and jockeys, trusting them to get her where she needs to be. She can only focus for ground work training for a short amount of time before she gets bored and her attention goes elsewhere, so sessions are kept short. Riding, though, she's a lot more enthusiastic, and she flourishes on the track like she does not on the ground. Her manners are impeccable under saddle, and she easily defers to what her rider asks. Sometimes she doesn't understand, of course, and that's the only time she acts out. She's a clown in the post parade, but she's not really nervous - she just gets really excited before a race, and is prone to small bucks and prancing and overall playfulness. Overall, Divie is a really sweet horse, and she wants to please. As she gets older she gets more relaxed and responsive, and we're excited to see where this takes her.

Racing Style: Divie generally breaks very well fromt he gate, but she takes off the speed almost immediately and cruises right near the back of the field. She settles easily, but as the race goes on, the tension builds and she gets more and more ready to make her drive. She doesn't fight, but she's completely eager. When asked to go, Divie really digs in, coming up the outside with a strong final drive reserved from sitting off the pace. She picks of the tiring horses, and doesn't stop pushing until she's asked to pull up. She tends to win by small margins, running as strongly as she needs to to pull out the win.
